Shire – Corporate website and brand centre design and build

Launching a new corporate brand identity and website at the same time is daunting for any company – but even more so given that their new brand contains eight bright brand colours and a new invigorating way of talking about the specialist pharmaceutical company.

Working with my colleague – who managed the new brand guidelines development – the website design was the first major implementation of their new “BRAVE” philosophy. The design was flexible enough to cope with all eight colours, as well as regulatory issues which restrict what pharma companies can say about their products.

Handing the corporate website design over to a their development partner, we then focused on the website guidelines, designing a look and feel to compliment the simple printed layout. The brand guidelines site were then built at short notice to ensure it was launched before Christmas. Finally we provided feedback and design direction on the corporate site to make sure the design was implemented well.

Whilst it’s still early days, the website has received many positive comments and I’m hoping to submit it for some awards in the upcoming year.
